Lockdown extended till July 1

On sunday, west Bengal recorded 3984 fresh COVID cases and 84 deaths. As many as 2497 more people were cured of the viral disease, taking the total tally to 14,26,710.


State CM, Mamata Banerjee on Monday announced that the ongoing lockdown to be extended till july 1 with some relaxations, As per order, government offices in West Bengal have been allowed to operate with 25 percent workforce, while private and corporate offices can remain open from 10 am to 4 pm with 2 percent manpower.



Shops in the shopping mall and complexes are allowed to operate between 11 am to 6 pm with a 50 percent workforce.

Sports activities will be resumed without audiences.

All education Institutes to be remained closed.

Movement of Private vehicles remains suspended excluding emergency

Restraunts and Bars are allowed to be open from 12 noon to 8 pm with 50 percent workforce.

A curfew will be imposed from 9 pm to 5 am
